CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY POLICY
The relationship between a client and a psychotherapist is protected by law. Protected Health Information (PHI) cannot be disclosed without written permission.
Exceptions to confidentiality include:
- Suspected child abuse or neglect or dependent adult or elder abuse or neglect
- Intent to harm self or others, including suicidal ideation and homicidal ideation
- Court-ordered disclosures
